AI Disclosure

Every story text and every illustration in your book is generated by AI models. Nothing is hand-written or hand-drawn.

We use large language models for story writing and image generation models for illustrations, accessed via the Lovable AI Gateway. Specific model identifiers may change as the technology improves.

Your child's photo is sent to the image model as a visual reference for character likeness. The model produces a stylised illustration, not a photorealistic copy.

We do not run facial recognition or store biometric face data.

Our model providers do not retain user-uploaded images for model training.

Prompt moderation: every story input is screened before generation.

Output moderation: generated text and image prompts are re-screened before being saved.

Age-appropriate constraints: the storyteller is configured to avoid death, graphic peril, sexual content, hate, politics, and copyrighted characters.

Human review: flagged content can be reviewed by our team via the in-app report function.

AI can make mistakes. Generated illustrations may not perfectly resemble your child. Stories may contain unexpected wording. If anything ever feels wrong, please report it — that report is reviewed by a human.

We do not use AI to make decisions about you or your child that have legal or similarly significant effects.

We do not engage in emotional manipulation, dark patterns, or behavioural targeting of children.

We do not personalise content based on inferred sensitive characteristics.
